MEDIEVAL CARNIVAL SUN 31st MARCH, 2019. The carnival is a unique event in Hamilton’s calendar, and is popular with a large spectrum of people outside the Waldorf community. It’s an opportunity for an educational and entertaining fun experience for the whole family.
The carnival has just about everything imaginable to interest children and adults, from sword fighting, metalworking, pottery, activities such as jewelry making and panning for crystals to live entertainment, wholesome home-baked goodies and beautiful handcrafts for sale. “We have a lot of regular visitors to the carnival, the Clydesdales ride and James the Blacksmith being two of the most popular.
The Medieval village is back with medieval enactment displays. It’s all a lot of fun, and the kids get so much out of it, they’ve always got something to do.” says event organisers. “Every year we aim to make the event bigger and better. This year is the 23rd year of our Medieval Carnival – it just keeps getting better!”
