Summer Menu

Monday

Morning tea: Home baking lovely made by our children using rice flour and fresh seasonal fruit Lunch: Fresh sandwiches with a delicious array of healthy fillings (avocado and vegetable spread, carrot and hummus, tomato, lettuce and vegetable spread, carrot and cheese, egg) fresh fruit and as an extra raw nuts and popcorn.
Afternoon tea: Crunchy crackers with various spreads (avocado, hummus, vegetable spread, jam, cheese and sunflower butter) fresh fruit and protein bar.

Tuesday

Morning tea: Home baking lovingly made by our children and fresh seasonal fruit.
Lunch: Fresh barley wraps with nutritious fillings (Avocado & veggie spread, carrot & hummus, tomato, lettuce and veggie spread, carrot and cheese), fresh fruit and as an extra popcorn and nuts.
Afternoon tea: Crackers with various spreads (avocado, hummus, vege spread, jam, cheese and sunflower butter), seasonal fresh fruit and banana yoghurt.

Wednesday

Morning tea: Delicious home baking (waffles) and summery fresh fruit.
Lunch: Vegetable quiche (egg, cheese, grated vegetables) with summery fresh fruit and as an extra popcorn and nuts.
Afternoon tea: Crackers with a variety of nutritional spreads (avocado, hummus, vege spread, jam, cheese and sunflower butter), juicy fresh fruit and protein bar.

Thursday

Morning tea: Warm home baking lovingly made by our children and fresh summery fruit. Lunch: Pasta with seasonal vegetables topped with a home made tomato pasta sauce, seasonal fresh fruit and popcorn.
Afternoon tea: Yummy rye crackers with a variety of nutritional spreads (avocado, hummus, vege spread, jam, cheese and sunflower butter), fresh seasonal fruit.

Friday

Morning tea: Bread buns made from scratch with our tamariki and juicy summery fresh fruit.
Lunch: Warm apple crumble with oats vanilla yoghurt, seasonal fresh fruit.
Afternoon tea: Crackers with a variety of nutritional spreads (avocado, hummus, vege spread, jam, cheese and sunflower butter), fresh seasonal fruit.

* All meals are served with water.
* Please note we adjust our meals to meet our children’s dietary requirements and age, in consultation with the cook.
* Seasonal fruits: Apples, oranges, feijoas, strawberries, bananas, watermelons, pineapples, grapes, pears, nashi pears, plums kiwifruits
* Seasonal Vegetables: Kumara, pumpkin, carrot, onion, courgette, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, avocado leeks, broccoli, cauli, beetroot, parsnip, peas, corn.

Lunch: Millet based pizza with seasonal vegetable topping, a tomato paste or no paste, fresh fruit. Afternoon tea: Crackers with a variety of nutritional spreads (avocado, hummus, vege spread, jam, cheese and sunflower butter), juicy fresh fruit and protein bar.

Afternoon tea: Crackers with a variety of nutritional spreads (avocado, hummus, vege spread, jam, cheese and sunflower butter), fresh seasonal fruit and protein bar.

* Seasonal Vegetables: Kumara, pumpkin, carrot, onion, courgette, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, avocado leeks, broccoli, cauli, beetroot, parsnip, peas, corn.
* Our very young children are given seasonal vegetables everyday until able to enjoy a more varied diet
